QED CELEBRATES 30 YEARS IN BUSINESS
Smart Resource Booking Solutions provider, QED Advanced Systems is celebrating 30 years in business with it’s most successful year ever and opening a new office in Northvale, New Jersey, USA.

The company was originally established in 1989 by Ian Fisher to provide computer hardware supply and support services. Spotting a gap in the market in 2006, QED developed ResourceXpress, a software application that works with standard and proprietary booking systems to provide point of use/remote reservation and control of meeting rooms and office workspaces.

ResourceXpress is aimed at improving efficiency and lowering real estate costs. It also provides an innovative desk booking system that can be used to manage any flexible work-space more efficiently. The solution has gone from strength to strength and is now used by hundreds of companies in over 30 countries around the globe.

One of our proudest milestones was the development of Qubi, our unique low-cost, energy-efficient, workspace booking device. The latest model – Qubi3 was predominantly designed and manufactured in the UK and this intelligent little device is now being deployed by some of the world’s leading organisations to reduce real estate overheads and improve efficiency.

The popularity of its products/services mean that QED Advanced Systems now has distribution partners in the UK, US and Canada and our subsidiary ResourceXpress Inc services the rapidly expanding North American market. ResourceXpress users include: Airbus, BAE Systems, European Space Agency, Georgia Pacific, Hyatt Hotels, J. Walter Thompson, Koch Industries, Oxford University, Scottish Parliament, Vertex, Honda, Volkswagen & many more.

With many more exciting development projects on the horizon and the continuation of our rapid sales growth, the future is looking bright for QED. Here’s to the next 30 years!
